The Big 3, already struggling because of high labor costs and weak sales, is being hit harder by consumer's credit difficulties, job losses and fears of a recession. So to help, the industry is asking for a $25 billion loan from the $700 billion bailout slated for the finance sector.

11/16/2007: Friendly Skies?
With the holiday travel season descending upon us, we wonder - how frustrated are you with "airport security"? While most travelers agree that locking the cockpit door, banning weapons, etc. on planes makes sense - many more are baffled on the ban on liquids... citing inconsistency among one of the reasons... for example, a passenger can still travel with a large bottle of clear liquid, as long as it's marked contact lens solution, while lip gloss is confiscated if it isn't in a bag?
